This is my #1 problem with feminism.  It forces women to be victims as opposed to being empowered.

I think feminism is empowering. I do think there are tumblr extremists who give it a godawful name but feminism is supposed to be about garnering equality for women. In the US, we’re doing well but there are still countries where women are second class citizens.

I think was feminism was about equality.  I think now it’s about gaining power through acting like a victim.  And yes, I do think that because there are extremists out there who say that, but also because there are REGULAR girls who actually believe in “patriarchy” and “rape culture”.  Two bullshit ideologies that make women out to be victims and men out to be oppressors.
